A downloadable game

my car is in the front yard is a game of elimination poetry using the lyrics to Lit's My Own Worst Enemy (1999).

by adam vass and will jobst as playstormed on episode 14 of the brain trust podcast.

it's a game for 1+ players.

to start:
print the lyrics of My Own Worst Enemy, found below.
get enough writing utensils for everyone. anything that'll be able to cross out text will work fine.

to play:
the goal of the game is to get the car in the front yard.
take turns speaking aloud and crossing out phrases or lines of lyrics.
this is done when the final words said aloud are "my car is in the front yard".

my own worst enemy, by lit

can we forget about the things i said when i was drunk
didn't mean to call you that
i can't remember what was said and what you threw at me
please tell me

please tell me why
the car is in the front yard and i'm
sleeping with my clothes on
came in through the window last night
and you're gone gone

it's no surprise to me i am my own worst enemy
cause every now and then i kick the living shit out of me
a smoke alarm is going off and there's a cigarette
still burning

please tell me why
the car is in the front yard and i'm
sleeping with my clothes on
came in through the window last night
and you're gone gone
please tell me why
the car is in the front yard and i'm
sleeping with my clothes on
came in through the window last night
and you're gone gone

it's no surprise to me i am my own worst enemy
cause every now and then i kick the living shit out of me
can we forget about the things i said when i was drunk
i didn't mean to call you that
